About Hospital

The Institute of Neurosciences, Kolkata (I-NK), is the realization of the vision of Dr. R. P. Sengupta, an eminent neurosurgeon practicing in England since 1961 and originally from Kolkata. Observing the lack of advanced neurological care, neurosurgery, psychiatric rehabilitation after head injury and stroke, and neuro-rehabilitation for children in Eastern India, Dr. Sengupta established I-NK as a not-for-profit institution to deliver world-class neurological treatment at affordable prices.
